| Multi-HR Day for Matsumoto as Sasquatch Overpower Texans, 10-6 | The Seattle Sasquatch bested the Dallas Texans by a score of 10-6, with catcher Kiyoji Matsumoto getting the main credit. On the day, Matsumoto hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Sasquatch. Luis García got the win, improving to 1-2. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Getting the save was C.J. Harnack, his 1st.
Matsumoto had a key at-bat for Seattle early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and gave Seattle an early 3-0 lead.
