| Grays Topple Blazers with Late Rally | The Georgia Grays electrified The Death Star with a thrilling, walk-off win.
Bloomington catcher Eugene Axe had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Georgia at The Death Star. Axe went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs. Georgia reliever Joe Kearns picked up the win, bumping his record to 6-8. Shichiro Iba was collared with the loss.
The Grays were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Andreas Kubel turned a 2-1 changeup from Shichiro Iba into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave Georgia a thrilling 6-5 win.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Bloomington manager Román Cruz. "The effort was great."
The first-place Blazers have dropped 4 straight games.
