| Texans Slip Past Havana, 8-7 | It was a good time at Metroplex Park, where fans came to watch the Havana Stogies and Dallas Texans get after it.
Dallas shortstop Bob Hern picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Havana Stogies, 8-7. Dallas reliever Ray Shumaker was the winner. His record is now 4-4. The losing pitcher was Danny Posada.
