| Pioneers Bridle Armada, 2-0 | Right-hander Dan Miscavage mesmerized the Quebec Armada while leading the Vancouver Pioneers to a 2-0 victory. Miscavage, now 6-11, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no earned runs. At 56-79, Vancouver is in last place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
Colin Carpenter aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder went 2-3 with a double and a walk.
"We did just enough to win," Carpenter said.
