| Rhinos Subdue Havana, 4-3 | The Rubber City Rhinos faced a tough opponent in Havana pitcher Levi Donahoo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Humidor by a final score of 4-3. Donahoo went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Rubber City reliever John Knight was the winner. His record is now 2-3. Mudasser Sabzvari took the loss. Even with the win, the Rhinos have a dismal 43-91 record.
The Rhinos got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Steve Parker. For the game, Parker went 1 for 1 with a home run. In the top of the ninth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Rubber City a 4-3 lead.
"I was a little disappointed," said Havana manager Reynaldo Vázquez. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
