The Belfast Titanic turned back the Dallas Texans, 2-1, at Ship Yard. Danny Stone was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Belfast goes to 52-81, Dallas to 62-73.

Stone had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 2-1 curveball from Ray Shumaker, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Titanic a 2-1 lead. It was the 27th home run of the year for Stone.

Stone called the win "a collective effort."
