| Tornadoes Bang Out 8-6 Win Versus Bloomington | Abalendu Manglorkar had a 3-RBI game, during Kansas City's 8-6 triumph over the Bloomington. Manglorkar contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. Kansas City reliever Kirk Redman got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Jack Mainjer was tagged with the loss. Nate Miller got the save, his 45th in 47 chances.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth when Manglorkar, who is a nine-time All-Star, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Tornadoes into the lead, 7-4.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Manglorkar told the Kansas City Gazette.
Kansas City leads the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division by 7 games.
