Nishiyama Dominates Hops in Shutout

Torikatzu Nishiyama was dynamite at Sin City Stadium today, blowing away the San Diego Hops in a shutout victory. The Las Vegas Aces starter had everything working as he held the Hops to 2 hits in the 6-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said San Diego skipper Carl Best. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."

Nishiyama finished the game with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.

Currently Nishiyama has a record of 4-3 with 35 strikeouts and 10 walks in 49.1 innings and a 4.74 ERA.
