| George Slugs Marauders to 10-6 Win | A 7-RBI performance from Dennis George, who is tied for 3rd in the TML in triples with 10, helped the Maple Marauders beat the Dallas Texans, 10-6. Maple reliever Jalen Mitchelle was the winner. His record is now 5-1. Tomio Nakahara took the loss. Ruben Luna converted his 3rd save in 5 tries.
The Marauders got a big at-bat from right fielder Manny de la Cruz. For the game, de la Cruz went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 178th hit of the season gave Maple a 6-5 lead.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," de la Cruz said.
Maple is 65-68 and Dallas, with the loss, 61-72.
