| Extra-Inning Win by Sasquatch over Pioneers | The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Vancouver Pioneers, 4-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at Sick's Stadium. The player of the game was Seattle pitcher and Tahara, Japan native Shuichi Imai. The Sasquatch bumped their record to 82-49 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Seattle center fielder Benito De Angelis, facing Mickael Raymond, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Sasquatch the 4-3 win.
"Exhilarating win," said De Angelis.
