Midland Rockhounds starter John Denny was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Belfast Titanic, 7-3. The Rockhounds bumped their record to 66-65 with this latest triumph.

Had Kaiji Nagata not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Nagata hit a bases-clearing double. That made the score 6-3, in favor of the Rockhounds.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Nagata told the Midland Bulletin.
