| Rhinos Get Road Win, 5-3 | Brian Briggs left his imprint on the 5-3 Rubber City win against the Bloomington Blazers. Briggs was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Terry Duncan, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. Rudy Cortez converted his 18th save in 21 tries.
Briggs contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Rubber City in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Briggs took a cutter from Jack Mainjer and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Rhinos to leap in front, 2-1.
