| Victory Over Armada Takes Seattle to 80-49 | Quebec got a terrific game from right fielder Jerry Vega. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Seattle, 6-4. Vega was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Quiang Tu converted his 35th save in 42 tries. The Sasquatch bumped their record to 80-49 with this latest triumph.
Tama Loa aided the Seattle cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the second. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," Loa said in postgame remarks. "Soon enough, the finish line will be in sight."
