Belfast starter Damien Sands had a strong outing against the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Belfast is now 50-77, while San Francisco is 59-68.

The Titanic got a big at-bat from second baseman Jorge Zamora. For the game, Zamora went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Belfast a 3-2 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Zamora said.
