| Mustangs Stun Aces, 5-3 | The Mile High Mustangs knocked off the Las Vegas Aces, 5-3, at McNichols Stadium. Jesús García, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Mile High won. The second baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Obke van der Haar was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 14 of 14 save opportunities. Mile High has now won 3 in a row.
García had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 changeup from Torikatzu Nishiyama, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Mustangs a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for García.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," García said.
