Bill Rendell led Portland to a triumph over So Cal. The final score was 5-2. The center fielder went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 2 RBI. Picking up the save was Quan Que, his 3rd.

Rendell had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Beavers went on to win.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Rendell.
