| Rockhounds Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Texans | The Midland Rockhounds downed the Dallas Texans, 6-3, at Field of Dreams. Zhong-shu Chuang led the way, going 2-for-4 for Midland. Ruben Fernandez was the winner. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. The Rockhounds bumped their record to 64-64 with this latest triumph.
Midland took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, pinch hitter Jejomar Butardo hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Chuang. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
