| Titanic Lose to Earthquakes, 7-4 | The San Francisco Earthquakes downed the Belfast Titanic, 7-4, at Golden Gate Park. Wang Huang led the way, going 4-for-5 for San Francisco. Orlando Garza, the winner, improved to 5-8. He held the Titanic to 3 earned runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 1. San Francisco is now 59-67.
Marshall Clark had a big run-scoring double for the Earthquakes in the bottom of the second inning. With San Francisco trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Jason Hammond and stroked the double to left. It was his 25th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Earthquakes ahead, 2-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Huang.
