Place, with Vancouver pitcher Dan Miscavage named player of the game. Miscavage went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-10. Today's win puts Vancouver at 52-72, while Cabo San Lucas falls to 70-56.
Carlos Gallardo aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman was 1 for 2 with a double and a walk.
