| Titanic Win at Brooklyn, 2-1 | Brooklyn got a terrific performance from pitcher Cesar Moreno, but it wasn't enough to beat the Belfast Titanic. Belfast won the Blue Ivy Stadium contest, 2-1. Moreno was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. Félix Ruíz, the winner, improved to 5-11. He held the Black Knights to 1 earned run on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 3. Chris Van Arsdale got the save, his 5th in 6 chances.
Hyun-hi Oh hit a run-scoring triple off Cesar Moreno in the top of the first, which put the Titanic in front, 1-0. Oh had 2 singles, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 3 for 4.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Belfast manager Sergio Ortega.
Belfast is 49-76 and Brooklyn, with the loss, 60-67.
