| Grays Win at Mile High, 3-1 | The Georgia Grays defeated the Mile High Mustangs, 3-1, in Thurman Munson League action at McNichols Stadium, with Georgia pitcher Ricky Arroyo named player of the game. The Grays bumped their record to 79-46 with this latest triumph.
The Grays got a big at-bat from left fielder German Salazar. For the game, Salazar was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 35th home run of the season gave Georgia a 3-0 lead.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Arroyo told the Georgia Times.
