| Texans Clip Sasquatch, 3-2 | The Seattle Sasquatch got a sterling performance from pitcher Luis García, but the Texans still prevailed, 3-2. García was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings allowing 3 runs. The winner was Dallas reliever Tomio Nakahara, now 8-5. The loser was Luis García. Ray Shumaker, credited with the save, is now 5 for 6 in save opportunities.
The Texans got a big at-bat from right fielder Tim Sorrells. For the game, Sorrells was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Dallas a 3-2 lead.
"We were in it," said Seattle manager Bob Miller. "We just didn't score enough runs."
