| Earthquakes Lose to Marauders, 5-3 | The San Francisco Earthquakes and Maple Marauders cranked it up at Golden Gate Park.
Maple rode a decent outing from starter Mitsunari Kobayashi to victory over the San Francisco Earthquakes at Golden Gate Park. The final score was 5-3. Ruben Luna notched his 2nd save in 4 chances.
The Marauders got a big at-bat from left fielder Tommy Buford. For the game, Buford went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 116th hit of the season gave Maple a 2-1 lead.
