| Titanic Turn Back Havana, 2-1 | The Belfast Titanic and Havana Stogies completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Belfast Titanic eked out a 2-1 win versus the Havana Stogies at Ship Yard. Nobody did more than pitcher Damien Sands, who captured player of the game honors. Bryan Blashill notched his 18th save in 23 chances.
The Titanic got a big at-bat from center fielder Dermott Glennon. For the game, Glennon went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Belfast a 2-0 lead.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Belfast manager Sergio Ortega said.
Belfast is last in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 47-74.
