| Republic Bang Out 8-5 Win Versus San Diego | The So Cal Republic topped the San Diego Hops, 8-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at House of the Republic. The player of the game was So Cal pitcher Dan Garcia. Garcia got the win, improving to 12-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Garcia allowed 1 earned run. The Republic bumped their record to 74-48 with this latest triumph.
Justin Nichols, who is on pace for 118 RBI this season, aided the So Cal cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
