The Dallas Texans and Rubber City Rhinos provided some drama at Metroplex Park.

The Rubber City Rhinos beat the Dallas Texans, 7-6, at Metroplex Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Tucker Slade, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Even with the win, the Rhinos have a dismal 37-83 record.

Mike Henry aided the Rubber City cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-5 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Slade said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
