Tovar goes 4-for-5, Grays Move to 77-44
The Georgia Grays handed the Midland Rockhounds a sound defeat, 11-0, at The Death Star. Mario Tovar was a main contributor to the win. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Georgia. Georgia reliever Pete Murphy was credited with the win, to go to 7-2. John Denny took the loss for Midland. The Grays own a robust 77-44 mark.

The Grays got a big at-bat from center fielder Denzel Kemsley. For the game, Kemsley went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Georgia a 1-0 lead.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Tovar told the Georgia Times.
