| Islanders Win Thriller, 3-2 | Hawaii rode a fine outing from starter Norogumi Yokoyama to victory over the Belfast Titanic at Aloha Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Hawaii now sits at 52-66, while Belfast falls to 46-74.
Yokoyama, a native of Nanao, Japan, was dealing all game. He kept Belfast hitters off-balance, while giving the Islanders 7.1 quality innings. Yokoyama threw 117 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 13.
