| Earthquakes Beat Blazers in 10 | The San Francisco Earthquakes outlasted the Bloomington Blazers in an extra-inning thriller.
The Earthquakes faced a stiff challenge from Bloomington pitcher Juan Figueroa, but persevered to claim a win at Arson Arena. The final score was 4-3. Figueroa went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. With the win, San Francisco goes to 57-61, while the Blazers fall to 66-53.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from third baseman Steve John. For the game, John was 1-4 with a triple. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave San Francisco a 4-3 lead.
