Late Rally by G.o.D. Secures Win

It was a good time at Isle of Destiny, where fans came to watch the Brooklyn Black Knights and Tonga G.o.D. get after it.

The Tonga G.o.D. defeated the Brooklyn Black Knights, 6-5, at Isle of Destiny today. Leading the charge for Tonga was designated hitter Billy Joel. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tonga starter Adhipa Vemireddy was credited with the win after throwing 95 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 10-7. Justin Davidov notched his 13th save in 16 chances.

Joel had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 slider from Kenny Moran, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the G.o.D. a 6-5 lead. It was the 58th hit of the year for Joel.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Joel told the Tonga Herald.

Tonga has now won 3 in a row.
