| G.o.D. Prevail, 4-3, Over Belfast | The G.o.D. had to overcome a fine effort from Belfast pitcher Kichibei Endo to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Ship Yard. Endo went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Tonga reliever Adell Anders was the winner. His record is now 8-5. Kichibei Endo took the loss. Tonga, now 58-61, holds second place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
Kiyonobu Yamasaki, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2020, aided the Tonga cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Yamasaki.
