| Tovar Helps Georgia Cruise to 14-3 Win | Georgia second baseman Mario Tovar had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Kansas City Tornadoes, 14-3. Losses have been rare for the Tornadoes, who are now 9-2.
Tovar had a key at-bat for Georgia early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and gave Georgia an early 2-0 lead.
"Getting the win feels nice," said Tovar. "More importantly, I had a good game."
