| Toreros Need Extra Frames to Get Past Marauders | The Cabo San Lucas Toreros topped the Maple Marauders, 8-6, at Legends Park. Cabo San Lucas third baseman Kerry Hood earned player of the game honors. He banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. The Toreros bumped their record to 66-52 with this latest triumph.
Hood had a game-changing double in the top of the 15th. On a 1-1 fastball from Kevin Neily, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Toreros a 7-6 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Hood.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Hood said after the game.
