| Victory Pushes Sasquatch Record to 73-42 | The Sasquatch had to overcome a fine effort from San Diego pitcher Ids Haasjes to grab a narrow 3-1 win at Sick's Stadium. Haasjes went 8 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Seattle reliever Jose Arguinzoni picked up the win to move to 5-1. Ids Haasjes suffered the loss. The Sasquatch own a robust 73-42 mark.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from designated hitter Fu-chi Ming. For the game, Ming was 1-4. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 7th hit of the season gave Seattle a 2-1 lead.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Ming, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
