| Beavers Walk Off with 6-4 Win | Portland Beavers starter Félix Reina pitched a strong game against the San Diego Hops at Waterfront Park, leading the Beavers to a 6-4 win. The Beavers have an impressive 71-43 record.
Portland won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Chris Elwell on the mound for San Diego, second baseman Phil Kinch hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Beavers fans to their feet.
In postgame comments to the Portland Times, Reina said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
