| Tornadoes Win at Quebec, 5-3 | The Kansas City Tornadoes knocked off the Quebec Armada, 5-3, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Jake Sandlin, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Kansas City won. The designated hitter went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Luis Hernández, credited with the win, is now 11-8. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings. The Tornadoes have an impressive 77-39 record.
Sandlin had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Tornadoes went on to win.
