| Texans Solve Republic, 6-2 | The Dallas Texans defeated the So Cal Republic, 6-2, at Metroplex Park today. Leading the charge for Dallas was third baseman Freddy Ramos. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Reliever Tomio Nakahara picked up the win. His record improves to 6-5. Dan Kircher took the loss. The Texans, at 51-65, sit in 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.
Ramos had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a single. The Texans went on to win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Ramos told the Dallas Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
