| Toreros Prevail, 3-1, Over San Francisco | The Cabo San Lucas Toreros picked up a win at Golden Gate Park, knocking off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 3-1. On the mound for Cabo San Lucas was right-hander Masazumi Ohayashi, who played a pivotal role in the win. Mike Foust notched his 27th save in 30 chances. The Toreros bumped their record to 63-50 with this latest triumph.
Dong-woo Lee aided the Cabo San Lucas cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I liked his command," said Cabo San Lucas manager Cisco Sánchez. "Masazumi was throwing strikes."
