| Victory Over G.o.D. Takes Seattle to 69-42 | Fans who gathered at Isle of Destiny saw a good contest between the Seattle Sasquatch and Tonga G.o.D..
The Seattle Sasquatch topped the Tonga G.o.D., 3-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Isle of Destiny. The player of the game was Seattle pitcher Shuichi Imai. The Sasquatch bumped their record to 69-42 with this latest triumph.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from third baseman Francisco Valdéz. For the game, Valdéz went 1 for 4. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 94th hit of the season gave Seattle a 3-2 lead.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Imai.
