| Texans Topple Islanders with Late Rally | The Dallas Texans and Hawaii Islanders played an exciting game at Aloha Stadium.
Hawaii pitcher David Lidstone gave the Texans all they could handle, but in the end, Dallas left Aloha Stadium with a 3-2 win. Lidstone allowed 1 earned run on 2 hits over 8 innings. Dallas reliever Sam Thomas picked up the win, upping his record to 5-6. Amaui Mahi'ai was saddled with the loss.
The Texans got a big at-bat from left fielder Bobby Bermudez. For the game, Bermudez went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Dallas a 3-2 lead.
"It was a solid team effort," said Bermudez after the game.
With the win over Hawaii, the Texans improved to 48-63.
