| Armada Lose to Marauders, 9-5 | The Maple Marauders defeated the Quebec Armada, 9-5, at Legends Park today. Leading the charge for Maple was center fielder Rickey Moses. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Maple starter Norbert Philips was credited with the win after throwing 83 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-8. Maple has now won 3 straight, while the Armada have lost 3 in a row.
Moses had a key at-bat for Maple early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 17th double of the season and gave Maple an early 1-0 lead.
