Donahoo Shuts Out Seattle

Before the game, Levi Donahoo said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Sick's Stadium, the Stogies pitcher whitewashed the Seattle Sasquatch 4-0.

"I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Donahoo said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my slider even when I was behind in the count."

The Havana starter held Seattle scoreless, giving up 2 hits while registering 6 strikeouts and issuing no walks.

"We didn't have very many good at-bats," Sasquatch manager Bob Miller said in his postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."

To date this season Donahoo is 11-2 with 19 starts and an ERA of 2.07 with 101 strikeouts in 139.1 innings.
