| Marauders Come Back Late to Top Armada | The Maple Marauders bested the Quebec Armada by a score of 7-6, with second baseman Joe Mann getting the main credit. On the day, Mann belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Marauders. The 'W' lifts Maple's record to 53-53.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Maple center fielder Rickey Moses, facing Ti-an Dan, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Marauders the 7-6 win.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Moses said.
