The Dallas Texans beat the Brooklyn Black Knights, 2-0, at Metroplex Park. The Texans got a fine performance from designated hitter Dave Stoner, who captured player of the game honors. He was 1-3 with a home run. The winner was Ray Shumaker in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Colin Hoffer took the loss. Umarah Abdul-Quddus converted his 1st save in 4 tries.

Freddy Ramos, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in home runs with 24, aided the Dallas cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a home run.
