| Bombers Prevail, 6-5, Over Eureka | The South Carolina Bombers eked out a 6-5 win versus the Eureka Hornets at Bomber Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Phil Taylor, who captured player of the game honors. Taylor, now 10-4, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 3 earned runs. Roger Montgomery notched his 1st save in 2 chances.
