Driggs, who is tied for 8th in the TML in hits with 119, was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. A.J. Porter got the win, improving to 7-9. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 10 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The Armada now have a mark of 38-65.
Had Jerry Vega not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Vega hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Armada.
Vega called the triumph "a good team win."
