| Multi-HR Game for Tai'mani in 5-2 Win | The Tonga G.o.D. downed the Mile High Mustangs, 5-2, at Isle of Destiny. Hikuleo Tai'mani led the way, going 2-for-3 for Tonga. Adhipa Vemireddy, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities. The G.o.D. raised their record to 51-52.
Tai'mani contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Tonga in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Tai'mani took a sinker from Katsumi Nakata and stroked the home run to right. His 18th home run of the season allowed the G.o.D. to leap in front, 3-2.
"I thought we played a nice game," Tai'mani told the Tonga Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
