| Blazers Win Thriller, 2-1 | Las Vegas got a terrific performance from pitcher Victor Dominguez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bloomington Blazers. Bloomington won the Arson Arena contest, 2-1. Dominguez was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball. Bloomington has now won 3 in a row.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from shortstop Fernando Franco. For the game, Franco was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 63rd hit of the season gave Bloomington a 2-1 lead.
