| Titanic Stun Armada, 7-4 | Belfast and Quebec duked it out at Lucky 7 Ballpark and the Titanic came out victorious.
Quebec got a terrific performance from pitcher Oscar Cruz, but it wasn't enough to beat the Belfast Titanic. Belfast won the Lucky 7 Ballpark contest, 7-4. Cruz was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball. Bryan Blashill got the save, his 14th in 17 chances.
The Titanic got a big at-bat from catcher Manolo González. For the game, González went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 73rd hit of the season gave Belfast a 6-4 lead.
"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" González told the Belfast Times. "You win just by scoring more runs."
Belfast is now 37-62, while Quebec is 37-63.
