| Grays Win Thriller, 4-3 | Georgia beat Havana at The Death Star, escaping with a 4-3 win. The win in large part was due to center fielder Jarek Domaszewski, who earned player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The win was credited to Pete Murphy in relief. His record improves to 6-1. Danny Posada took the loss. The Grays have an impressive 61-38 record.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Georgia shortstop Luiz Lopez, facing Danny Posada, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Grays the 4-3 win.
"This wasn't a good win," said Lopez. "It was a great win."
